Parking Information for USF
The annual meeting takes place in the University Student Center at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg (USFSP). Located just south of downtown, USFSP has on-site parking available in our garage for visitors at a cost of $5 per day (RED circle on map above). Permits are available for purchase online (http://www.usfsp.edu/administrative-and-financial-services/parking-transportation/) or from a machine on the first level of the parking garage.
Please place your permit on your vehicle so it is visible from your front window and park in any general parking spaces on levels 2 through 5. The conference venue is across the street (BLUE circle on map above). The permit is valid the entire day, allowing for unlimited entrance and exit from the campus during that day. There are metered spaces on city streets adjacent to campus that allow for parking up to three hours at a time. Enforcement of parking meters on public streets is by the City of St. Petersburg, not the University.
On-campus parking should not be a problem within the garage during our meeting, since it is the week between spring and the first summer semesters. Enforcement of parking regulations on campus is by USFSP Parking Services in conjunction with our University Police Department. If you have any questions about parking, please contact Parking Services at email@example.com or 727-873-4480.
